[Bypass] (IAB Blocked) - The app will bypass the filter, meaning no filtering in that app, but will protect from in-app browsers (Only protects if accessibility is on). Use this if the app does not work well in "open" mode.
[No Protection] - This mode will remove all protection from the app. It is not recommended as IABs will be allowed.
[Closed] - The app will be blocked and hidden from users. (Only if the Device Owner is active).
[Lock] - Locking an app will prevent the app from appearing in the request app list in the MB Smart app.
Only available for support:
[Closed with Internet] - Some apps require the Play Store or Galaxy Store to be open, with this setting the app will close itself.
[Filtered (Secondary Categories)] - With this setting, the app will use the secondary categoriesย ย
It is recommended that the MB Smart Browser be used for all site whitelisting and blocked images.
If any other browser is set to Open, then it will filter the sites as it does to any other app, all sites open through the VPN categories will open in that browser without image blocking.
Chrome
Chrome can be Whitelisted (only with the Device Owner active), this option is found in the Main tab under the Main section, when you whitelist Chrome only Fully Open sites will work.
Chrome Basic Protection:
When Chrome is "Open" the safe search is enforced by default (only when the Device Owner is active),ย
If you need to whitelist a specific site only in Chrome add the URL like this @com.android.chrome@google.com,ย
If you open the Search category, this will allow other search engines with safe search and also allow searching sites in other apps(IABs).
This applies to Brave and Kiwi Browser too ( in this case whitelist: @com.brave.browser@google.com).
Chrome Google Search Without Images:
In case it is needed to use Chrome with standard categorization like other apps but Google Search Images are not wanted, there is an option in the "Special Conf." tab to enable Chrome Google Search without images. This will only work with the active device owner
Offers the same options in the Apps tab, if you have any issues with System Apps you can Bypass or change to no protection mode.

5.1 How do you register the extension correctly on Android devices?
Register the Extension
Open the MB App and navigate to "Customer Portal."

Log in with the customerโs credentials and choose "Register the device to extension."
Adjust Settings & Lock the Extension
In the Portal, configure settings based on the customer's preferences.
Enable the Kiwi Extension Lock to prevent unauthorized removal of the extension.
The Adult setting requires more than one word on the page to trigger the filter. However, with Adult Very Strict, a simple word can trigger the block. ๐
This section provides the interface for whitelisting and/or blocking sites for the VPN and MB Smart Browser.ย
Blocking is always privileged over open sites, for example: "google.com" on the blacklist will block "sites.google.com" even if it is on the whitelist.
6.1 Site Modes
[VPN/Browser No Images]- This mode will open a site through the VPN and in MB Smart Browser without images. If they only need the site in the background, use this mode.

[Blocked] - The site will be blocked on VPN and MB Smart Browser.ย
[Extension Excluded] - ย Excludes this site from the extension for PRO users, but will not open the site.
6.2 URL Logs
All sites the device is consulting are filtered through the VPN/DNS and are allowed or blocked depending on the user's settings.
Logs for the sites passing through the VPN/DNS show information on every log.
MB Smart stores up to 300 logs, which is roughly equivalent to 20 minutes of records.
Every log includes:
State - If the site was OPEN or BLOCKED,
Time - The time this connection happened, device time.ย
App - The package name of the app currently in use by the user. If the screen is off, it will display 'off'. If an app name is shown, it indicates the app that made the connection.ย
Category - The category of the site, in case it's in the whitelist, or in a Special config allowed logs will show 'custom'.
Url - The site including subdomains, or the whole URL in the case of the MB Smart Browser.
Domain - The domain of the site, if a domain is added to the list will affect all subdomains.
This section contains the top Special Config options, quick fixes for most common issues, In-app blocks, YouTube options, and more.

MB Browser
The MB Bowser is whitelisted and without images by default
YouTube
YouTube provides three filtering levels: Strict, Moderate, and Unrestricted. By default, MB enforces the Strict filter. Both the Strict and Moderate levels block live streams and comments.
Often, shiurim and Torah-content get blocked on Strict, but are viewable on Moderate.
MB enforces Google safe search and blocks the images tab when Google.com or the search category is opened
Spotify
Mb smart blocks the images and videos in Spotify by default
PlayStore
Mb smart blocks the images and videos in the PlayStore by default
Customers can remotely access the MB Smart Customer Portal from any device to request changes to their account
This also allows parents to control change requests for their children's devices.
To access the portal, go to http://customer.mbsmartservices.net/ and enter the Account ID and PIN.ย
After manually entering your Account ID and PIN the first time, save the new link as a bookmark. This way, you can easily return to the same account the next time without entering your "Account ID" again.
